Following market research into the requirement for an economic impartial design service and after consulting its customer base, Marwood established its Lighting Design Department. Since its inception in 2004, the department has expanded over the years requiring Marwood to recruit some of the leading lighting designers in the industry.

Marwood Lighting Design can offer the complete package from site visits and design to delivery of the products specified. Marwood can also manage the supply chain process to ensure that the component parts of the design are delivered in the correct order and in line with the customer’s requirements. Concepts
Marwood’s lighting sales engineers and designers will work alongside the customer to fully understand the requirements of a lighting scheme, not only from a performance perspective but also understanding visual requirements and budgetary constraints. At this time, energy saving technologies such as LED lanterns, electronic control gear and central monitoring systems may also be introduced to help the client understand potential ‘whole life cost’ saving opportunities.

Development
Having agreed the concept for a scheme, Marwood’s lighting designers will then produce designs utilising the latest DIALux, Autocad and Lighting Reality software packages, providing a practical, cost effective solution for presentation to the client.

Supply
Once the design has been agreed on, Marwood will then supply the specified products in accordance with the customer’s requirements and timescales.
