From your initial contact with us through to the deployment and ongoing support of your product solution, every step of our process is managed in-house. This enables us to design and deliver lighting projects from the ground up and maintain existing projects efficiently and effectively. 
With over 36,000 square feet of warehousing facilities holding over 4,000 stocked product lines, you have access to one of the largest lighting product ranges in the UK. Our own fleet of vehicles and a dedicated logistics and delivery department, nurtured by our own trusted drivers, ensure our customers benefit from lighting products handled with the respect they deserve, arriving safely and on-time.  


Our headquarters in Kent comprises 36,000 sq.ft of warehouse and office space as well as our bespoke lighting display studio, serving projects and clients across the United Kingdom and Europe.  
Our large warehousing facility enables us to maintain an extensive stockholding in excess of £7million, comprising over 4,000 product lines. We believe this is rather unique and demonstrates our commitment to servicing our clients needs. We support not only general stock for new projects but also customer and project specific stock, to enable just-in-time replacements for ongoing maintenance contracts. We continually monitor and analyse market trends and keep abreast of new innovations to ensure our stock is both relevant and adds value to our supply chain whether you are a customer to us or a supply partner that identifies with the value added benefits we offer.
We are adept at managing large contracts, typically of 6,000 – 30,000 units for county wide projects, often multiple projects of this size are seamlessly managed by our business at any one time and our stock holding and logistics capabilities play a key part in a seamless approach to fulfilling these ongoing contracts. 

We service our customer base using our own fleet of vehicles and our own experienced delivery drivers who go the extra mile to cater for our customers’ needs. Goods are handled by our expert drivers with the required care and consideration to ensure goods arrive on time and in full working order, enabling clients to deliver their projects successfully.  

We have used Marwood for over 7 years since rolling out our LED replacement programme in Nottinghamshire. Our main priority was to have easy access to a variety of stock items so that we could quickly and easily replace or update our lighting when required.

Drawing on over 30 years’ experience of lighting design, our team carefully consider light output and coverage, user experience, energy consumption, on-going maintenance, the impact on the local environment and safety standards on every lighting design project.  
We are proactive in utilising this expertise and experience, even when contracted in the latter stages of a project lifecycle. With a strong supply chain and partner network, we are able to offer impartial advice and compare a range of manufacturers’ products against a number of variables, such as lighting performance, energy efficiency and cost, to identify a perfect lighting solution. We offer blended product solutions, drawing on the very best products available to achieve the objectives of the scheme.  
This approach offers significant cost savings to our clients, both in terms of the initial investment and any ongoing maintenance and support that may be required, and provides peace of mind that by working with Marwood you are working with lighting experts at every step of your project.  
Our lighting design service is also accessible on a consultative basis, working with lighting engineers and consultants to design and enhance lighting schemes, even if we are not supplying or installing the products. We are also adept at carrying out lighting design checks, including lighting surveys and lux level checks to ensure schemes meet expectations even if we have not been involved in the earlier stages of a project.
